Puppies need a few items that you’ll want to purchase before bringing them home. Here are the basics:

• collar • name tag with phone number/ address • 4-6 ft leash • crate and bedding • food dish • water bowl • brush and comb • puppy shampoo • toothbrush & paste (only use toothpaste formulated for dogs) • nail clippers or dremel

• hard chew toy (Benebone) • soft chew toy (Kong Wubba) • classic Kong • long rope toy • tennis balls • food rewards • exercise pen • snuggle puppy • fenced outdoor area • pee pads or indoor potty system if training indoors
