CruzNDoodles keeps pricing competitive, comparable to other reputable breeders. Each puppy costs $2250, regardless of sex or color. This is for a pet, a non-breeding contract. If you are a reputable breeder, please contact me for details on the cost and process for obtaining breeding rights.
What goes into a puppy price?
- The cost of taking care of breeding dogs (food, vet bills, DNA testing, OFA hip/ eyes/ elbow testing, facilities, equipment, toys, treats, grooming, etc.)
- The cost of pregnancy (progesterone testing, stud fees, artificial insemination, ultrasounds, exams, C-sections if applicable)
- The cost of caring for puppies (whelping supplies, food, equipment, toys, vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, vet exams)
- The cost of business (continuing education, membership dues, website hosting, advertising)
- Time and effort to raise quality puppies. Raising puppies the right way involves constant cleaning, training, feeding (sometimes bottle feeding!), ENS sessions, and lots of playtime and love!
You could find a Goldendoodle puppy for less, but you’ll likely be buying from a backyard breeder (who has no idea about health or genetics- you could easily end up with a puppy with a disease), or a sad puppy mill. Please don’t support these types of breeders. They do it for the money, not to improve the breed or provide quality pets for families.
